“Eco-industries strike a balance between creating new jobs, generating employment and the need to protect the environment.
They are the backbone for the growth of green activities in the Poitou-Charentes and symbolise the economy of the future, linking technological innovation and environmental excellence.
By supporting the formation of a competitiveness cluster for eco-industries, I want the Poitou-Charentes Region to play a driving role in the development of these initiatives. Currently the eco-industries cluster has amassed over 413 businesses, professional groups, and training and research centres, and their projects bear witness to their dynamic qualities.
This 5th Rencontres (Trade Fair) is the focal point innovators look forward to, so the projects contributing to the economy of tomorrow are born and mature in the Poitou-Charentes."
